Rock group The Peace Creeps is fronted by Richard Bush, former lead singer of 80’s band The A’s. Having dealt with record label problems, Bush moved onward and upward to rebuild his career. He sequestered himself in a woodshed with only his guitar as company and a new writing partner. With the help of guitarist John Marchiano, drummer Bruce Rogers and the bass and zeetar stylings of Michael Vogelman, the Peace Creeps were born. The Peace Creeps feature a heady mix of Elvis Costello-like wit, Faces-like looseness and the wide open pop sensibilities of the Beatles. His songs have been used on such network television shows as “The Secret Life of The American Teenager,” “Burn Notice,” “My Name is Earl,” and “Vanished” and in the independent feature film “Neo Ned.” Whether headlining or heating up audiences for such names as Ian McLagan, Savoy Brown, Walter Wolfman Washington, Gary Hoey and Eddie Money, the pint-sized performer — whose trademark is his singing introductions — delivers the goods with an impassioned gospel-like intensity which cuts across all demographic lines.
