Now in their fourth year together, Burning Bridget Cleary hit the ground running in 2006, playing at major festivals, concert stages and regional events. Their second CD, “Everything is Alright”, has been endorsed by world class Celtic recording artists, Martin Hayes, Liz Carrol and Tony DeMarco. It has also been featured on Fiona Ritchie’s “Thistle and Shamrock”, as well as dozens of other radio stations nationwide.
Rose Baldino and Genna Gillespie met as pre-teens at a traditional Irish music session in Bethlehem, PA. Both come from musical families and both have been trophy winners at the Celtic Classic fiddle competitions. The natural pairing of these talented young women, backed on guitar by Rose’s dad, Lou Baldino, and joined by Peter Trezzi on djembe, has created a polished musical team that is well known for their high-spirited and engaging performances. Fresh from the stages of the Celtic Classic, Bethlehem MusikFest, and the Philadelphia Folk Festival, Chaplin’s is very pleased to welcome Burning Bridget Cleary.
