Brooke Shive & the 45’s are one of the hottest bands emerging on the scene today! Fronted by the strikingly beautiful Brooke Shive on lead vocals, this band is comprised of seasoned professionals who give an exciting, inspired and precise foundation for the gritty, elegant and emotional singing of Brooke Shive. Brooke’s emotional and intense presence is made even more so by the talented musicians who make up the 45’s. On drums is her father Steve Shive, who has played drums with Daryl Hall, Tim Moore, Kingfish, David Lindley and Robbie Dupree to name a few, Jim Gilheany on bass, formerly backed up Rick Danko, Sonny Rhodes, and was a member of the stunning Kings in Disguise. Last but not least is the undiscovered guitar phenom, Stevei Gordeuk who sets the place on fire with his inspired virtuosity. Brooke Shive & the 45’s will be appearing at Chaplin’s with a featured guest on sax, keyboard and harmonica. The fantastic Jay Davidson, who has toured and recorded with Stevie Winwood, Levon Helm, Whitney Houston, and the legendary Billy Preston!!! This is one show you do not want to miss.

Hailing from York, Pennsylvania, and only just 20 year’s old, Casey Alvarez came to Philadelphia with nothing but his guitar and aspirations of musical success. Since arriving in mid 2009 he has become known throughout the region for his melodic tones and blues influenced guitar work inspired mainly from one of his favorite musicians, Eric Clapton. Spending time as a child in his family’s native North Carolina, he prides himself on his southern roots.
