Blue Bizness: Bandmates include Don “Zig” Zeller on Lead and slide guitar, harmonica and vocals. Michael Sproat on rhythm and lead guitar, vocals, Larry Hinkel on Drums, vocals, and Dick Donovanon Bass. All seasoned musicians, we met and started jamming together in 2004, and are still having a great time making music together over FIVE years later! Tight, cohesive arrangements take this kind of time together, and it shows, we’re told. The band plays a widely varied setlist of particularly high energy blues rock that you won’t hear elsewhere, flavored with a dash of slide guitar, blues harmonica, and screamin’ Fender guitars served up on a bed of rock-solid rhythm. This AIN”T your mama’s blues! WE’RE GOING TO MOVE YOU! Blue Bizness and/or it’s members have shared the stage with many accomplished artists including Splintered Sunlight, Jason Ricci and New Blood, The Deb Callahan Band, Beaucoup Blue, Jimmy Day’s Fish Fry, Seth Holzman and many more, at venues including Brownies, Chaplin’s Music Cafe, The Rusty Nail, Carmines Creole Cafe, Peabodys Irish Pub, The Greylodge Pub, and AJs. We’re immersed in the Philly area blues scene and regulars for years at the staple “open-mics” at the Nail and previously Warmdaddy’s.

Blue Route blues band: Gritty electric Chicago Blues, jump-jive West Coast blues, rockin Texas Blues, blue-eyed soul, you’re gonna hear it all! Blue Route hit the Pennsylvania festival scene this past summer to the delight of area blues fans.
Blue Route brings together the vocalists/frontmen from three Philly-local blues bands—“Hellhound Blues Band,” “Smokestack Lightnin” and “Green Onions,”—each with his own style, and backs them up with dead-steady rockin’ rhythm players seasoned with decades on the Delaware Valley music scene, and years touring with groups such as Danny & The Juniors.
If you’re jonesin for blues masters like Little Walter, Muddy Waters, Otis Rush, Albert Collins and more—plus a few blues originals inspired by the likes of John Lee Hooker and Little Bobby Parker—get ready for a house-rockin, toe-tappin, hip-shakin night, as you go rollin along with Blue Route!
