Aural Pleasure Booking & Promotions and Chaplin’s the Music Cafe have come together again to present another fantastic show! Yo Charlotte! Mostly Maybe! Hillary Wallace! These three artists from the greater Phoenixville area all come together to perform at the greatest music venue between Philadelphia and Reading.
The opening act, Yo Charlotte, is a recently established acoustic duo made of the fantastic vocal stylings of Kar Lyn accentuated by the guitar and backing vocals of Mr. Coat. Playing popular acoustic covers mixed with a few catchy originals, these two put together bring great lyrics, beautiful music, and comedic timing in a perfect mix that can please any crowd.
Mostly Maybe, a work in progress, is somewhat of a project that Pelle started earlier this year. An upbeat band with a mellow, happy sound along the lines of Ra Ra Riot or Vampire Weekend Mostly Maybe was formed with a band of talented musicians and amazing people, led by the fantastic Pelle. With an array of musicians backing him, including Jeremy Smith on Violin, Amelia Sabra on Keys, and Ralphie Huff on Bass, and Jack Inkpen on cello and drums. Pelle’s already soothing voice comes alive and captures your heart.
Hillary Wallace is a spunky, pint-sized songwriter based in Pottstown, PA- about an hour outside of Philadelphia. She recognized her love of music at a very young age, and has been performing ever since- whether it was singing into a hairbrush in front of the mirror or on a stage in front of hundreds of people. Hillary has been playing piano and writing songs since elementary school, and at age thirteen added guitar to her repertoire. She is now eighteen years old and is extremely passionate about both her own music and the artists who influenced it. Hillary recently recorded her first EP, As Needed, in September 2009- you can snag a copy of your own at the show. She will be accompanied by Jon Eirich on guitar.
These three artists are very excited to perform together, and will guarantee you and fantastic and entertaining show. Yo Charlotte will be opening, followed by Mostly Maybe and then Hillary Wallace, who are both headlining.
